Flumserberg is located between Chur and Zurich in eastern Switzerland, close to both the German, Lichenstein and Austrian border.Train connections are particularly good (1 hour 10 minutes) from Zurich Airport making Flumserberg a perfect holiday destination for tourists from abroad.

By Train

The journey by train is smooth and easy thanks to international and national connections. You'll get directly to Ziegelbrücke or Sargans from destinations such as Zürich, St. Gallen and Chur as well as from Amsterdam, Brüssel, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hannover, Köln and Paris.
Having arrived in Ziegelbrücke and Sargans you get to Flums or Unterterzen (Quarten) by the local train system. Constant postal courses bring you up to Flumserberg departing from Flums (at the station). The cable car Unterterzen (Quarten) brings you up to Flumserberg providing a breathtaking panorama of the lakes Walenstadt and Zurich.

By Car

It takes 45-60 minutes only to get from the airport Zürich-Kloten to Flumserberg and about 1 hour from the lake Constance to Flumserberg.
Perfect accessablility from the A3, the A13 as well as the A53.
It takes 15 minutes to get to the mountain railways or the hiking trails Flumserberg from the motorway exit Flums. Plenty of free-parking slots are at your disposal.
We have driven from the UK non-stop from the channel tunnel and it takes around 8 hours, sometimes we stay overnight to break up the drive in France on the way down. Please ask us for details or advice.

By Plane

The international Airport is in Zürich-Kloten. Where you can take the train or get a car to get easily to Flumserberg.
The train- as well as the motorway connections to the Heidiland are convenient and reasonable even if you arrive late, so that you spend the very first night at us without any stop-over.
A private airport is located in Bad Ragaz. You fly over the aviatic approach path coming from the north via Zürich - lake of Walenstadt, from the east via lake of Constance - Altenrhein or from the south coming from the Alpes via Tessin - San Bernardino - Splügen or Engadin - Julier.
Costums clearance only available for flights to foreign countries but not for flights coming from foreign countries.

By Postal Bus

There are regular buses between Flums and Flumserberg (Bergheim - Tannenheim - Tannenboden) as well as throughout the entire Holiday destination Heidiland. Reservation needed for groups as of 10 and more people.
